2026 Fall Season of Flag Football

Thank You for considering Somerset Youth Flag Football as your flag league of choice. We are excited to offer another fall season this year. We are happy that you want to be apart of our family. This fall we will offer flag for players in 6 to 14 years of age. 
Divisions will be set as 8U-1st/2nd grade,  10U-3rd/4th grade,  12U-5th/6th grade, and  14U-7th/8th grade.   (Division subject to change with registration rates.) 

We are open to Kindergarten age players. Please note these players should have the ability to play in the 1st/2nd grade division.

Registration has been set up to allow more advanced players to play up one grade level. example being, a 2nd grader can play up a division with the 3rd/4th grade.  Registering a child up will initially be at parents discretion but will be reviewed during the combine (players evaluation for final decision). 


Registration Closes July 18th or if division becomes full. If a division has enough coaches we can accommodate up to 100 players per division. 

Players in Grade 3-8 will be evaluated at our Combine on July 11th. Destination and Time TBD. 
     
Games in the fall will be played on Saturday afternoons. Season is planned to start August 29th with a meet and greet then wrap up with playoffs in November . No Games Labor Day & Columbus Day Weekend. Also it is planned that rain outs are played at the leagues discretion. 

Dates relevant to the Spring Season: September 12th, 19th, 26th. October 3rd, 17th, 24, & 31st. November 7th & 14th  Additional Rain Date of November 21st if needed

Divisional times   1/2nd grade 11:30a-1p, 3/4th grade 115p-215p, 5/6th grade 230p-330p, 7/8th grade 345p-445p

Games are played at Swansea YMCA 271 Sharps Lot Rd. Swansea, Ma.02777

Practice times and location are held at the discretion of the coaches.

Registration Cost is $135-$150 for the season. it includes Jerseys, Shorts and Flags. For 1st/2nd grade Eight divisional games. for the remaining divisions, seven regular season games and playoffs.
Additional equipment needed Water bottle, Cleats and Mouth guards. Recommended equipment soft helmet and receiver gloves.
